Selangor Wesak 2025 Photography Contest

This year, the Selangor State Wesak celebration 2025 will be headed by Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia in collaboration with Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Buddhist Malaysia (MBCC), Persatuan Buddhist Malaysia (MBA-Cawangan Selangor), Pertubuhan-Pertubuhan Buddhist di Negeri Selangor.

As part of the celebration, we are inviting photography enthusiasts to participate in the Wesak Stamp Book Circuit Photography Competition.

Theme: “Wesak Warms My Heart”

  • Capture the warmth and inspiration of Wesak through your lens.

  • Your photograph should reflect the essence of Wesak, showcasing the sacred atmosphere of the celebration, the serene chanting of monks, devotees offering prayers, acts of kindness, candlelight processions, or moments of peace within temple grounds.

  • Let your image convey the compassion, wisdom, and serenity of Buddhism.

Locations: 20 Participating temple/vihara/society.
