TBCM Member Visits : Bandar Utama Buddhist Society

Theravāda Buddhist Council of Malaysia (TBCM) visited Bandar Utama Buddhist Society (BUBS) at Uttama Bodhi Vihara, BU3, Petaling Jaya, Selangor on 10th August 2014.The TBCM Team was warmly welcomed to BUBS by its Executive Committee members led by Bro. Chiam Swee Ann, the Deputy President. Also in the welcoming party was , Bro. Lim Ah Bah, the Hon. Secretary and Bro. Lee Lean Hock, the Hon. Treasurer, and the Executive Members. Bro. Tan Buck Soon, the President, joined the meeting later after a Dhamma Sharing at another Society.The TBCM Team comprised Bro. Tan Leng Huat, the Deputy President, Bro. Ananda Fong, the Hon. Secretary-General, Bro. Lim Boon Hang, the Central Region representative, and Bro. Tang Sum Chee, a Committee Member.TBCM in this Meet-the-Member programme, shared with the BUBS Exco a video of TBCM's inception, Vision, Mission, Development Blueprint and its implementation progress since its first AGM in Sept 2012. This was followed by discussions on furthering our mutual understanding and solidarity in advancing the Buddhist cause.The visit ended on a positive note with the TBCM Team expressing its appreciation to the BUBS Exco for the warm welcome and hospitality. - Posted by CFFong
