Sri Lanka Flood Relief 2017 Cheque Presentation Ceremony

On 30 May 2017, Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia initiated the Sri Lanka Flood Relief campaign to raise awareness and to appeal to the compassion of Malaysians for the Sri Lankan Flood victims numbering more than 500,000 homeless.Since then many of TBCM's members as well as members of the Malaysian Buddhist Consultative Council (MBCC) have joined hands in the Flood Relief efforts.On Sunday 18 June 2017, a cheque presentation ceremony was organised at Buddhist Gem Fellowship (BGF), with their kind permission, at Ara Damansara, Selangor.The cheques were presented by many organisations present to TBCM, and received by TBCM's President Bro. Tan Leng Huat, in the presence of the most Venerable B.
