Siri Jayanti Welfare Organisation

Siri Jayanti Welfare Organisation (SJWO) is a not-for-profit charitable organisation Registered with the Registrar of Societies since 11-Jul-1995, and have secured tax exemption status approval from Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negara (LHDN) since 2008.

SJWO passion is to assist less fortunate community members to be able and live a decent human lives, thus to cultivate for liberation. SJWO encourage the come together of everyone participation for this goal. SJWO also have centre for a group of unfortunate elders called Siri Jayanti Metta Care Centre located at 2 Jalan Perusahaan Satu, Kuala Lumpur which is Setapak area, we have less than 20 elders taking care by SJWO sub-committee who is managing the home.

SJWO Annual Activities/Program include:

1. Mettacare Centre Dinner / Fund Raising

2. Education Aid Program

3. Food Aid Program

4. Charity Fair

5. Blood Donation

 Our Objective

1. To promote the Dharma through the practice of love, compassion and charity to all beings.

2. To give assistance to the under privilege and needy, irrespective of race, creed, sex or religion.

3. To legally establish or maintain or to assist in the establishment or maintenance of welfare facilities

In order to create the concerted effort to achieve the passion, SJWO join Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia (TBCM)  since 2011.
