Penang Wesak Celebration 2024

Penang Wesak Celebration 2024 is initiated by Penang State Government, organised by Malaysian Buddhist Association(MBA), co-organised by MBA Penang Branch, Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia (TBCM), Vajrayana Buddhist Council of Malaysia(VBCM) and various temples and Buddhist organisations in Penang.

The Wesak Celebration will be launched officially on 18th of May (Saturday), 7pm at Wisma Malaysian Buddhist Association.

The celebration includes float launching ceremony, bathing of Buddha Statue and the Buddhist Preservation of Life & Environmental Protection Exhibition.

The bathing of Buddha Statue and exhibition of Buddhist Preservation of Life & Environmental Protection will be opened to public from 18-22 May 2024.

2024年槟州全民庆卫塞
槟州政府主催、马来西亚佛教总会主办、马佛总槟州分会、马来西亚南传佛教总会、马来西亚金刚乘佛教总会以及全槟各寺院庵堂暨佛团协办的2024年槟州全民庆卫塞将在5月18日(星期六)，晚上7pm, 在马来西亚佛教总会大厦正式开幕。欢迎大家前来共襄盛举，共庆卫塞。此次庆典包括花车亮灯仪式、浴佛及佛教护生环保展览。浴佛与展览的开放日是从5月18日至22日 2024。
