BUDDHIST BOOK FOR HOTEL ROOMS

A Buddhist book to be placed in hotel rooms was launched recently at the Federal Hotel. “What Buddhist Believe Hotel Room Edition” was authored by the late Ven Dr K. Sri Dhammananda, and one of the best current Buddhist books in English that clears many misconceptions and misinterpretations associated with the religion and has been translated into several languages. Venerable Dhammananda has authored more than 70 publications, some of which have been translated into about 35 languages.Buddhist books should be placed in hotels to educate Buddhists about their own religion while seeking understanding and common grounds from other religionists in the country. Buddhists would not be able to contribute positively for religious harmony if they did not know their religion.
